Music Paintings by Sandy Martin
You may have been to a concert during the past
several years, or even in the 1970’s, and noticed a woman painting to the music.
Sandy Martin resumed painting musicians during live performances in 2004, when
she met Ben Anderson, co-founder of Wolfeboro Folk, Director of Prescott Park
Music Festival, and past president of Great Waters Music Festival, New
Hampshire, USA.
More than a hundred concerts later, these slide
shows represent a sampling of the paintings and sketches done at concerts on the
East Coast and in Sandy Martin’s New Hampshire studio.
Prints are available in three sizes:
8.5” x 11” - $25 plus $10 s & h
11” x 14” - $45 plus $10 s & h
12” x 18” - $75 plus $10 s & h
Strings to the Stars, 2004, is a black and white book of drawings
by Sandy Martin with words by Georges Kassabgi. It is available for $15 plus
shipping and handling.
Bands who have placed my paintings on their
sites are www.soulcityband.com and
